Active Physio Works

Overview

Active Physio Works was a Client that was referred to us from a previous client and is located in St. Albert, Alberta. Originally the business name was St. Albert Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, but they were looking to develop a new corporate identity that would encompass all four of their locations in and around Edmonton. In addition to the design and development of a new corporate identity, we also developed business cards, brochures, vertical banners and a comprehensive website. 

Logo Development

Active Physio Works has four locations in and around the Edmonton area and were looking to create one uniform brand that would encompass these multiple locations. They wanted to use an element of their existing logo (the circle with the four sports characters), while creating a bold and "active" feel. We worked with the client on multiple ideas and finally refined the design to the one you see to the right.

The Client requested various formats of the logo to be produced for their various needs and multiple applications. All files were also submitted to the Client in there inverted format.

Print Package

After completing a new logo for Active Physio Works, we also designed and developed business cards, brochures and vertical banners. Throughout the various print projects we carried through the same colour scheme and images to maintain consistency of brand.

The business cards were two sided, full colour, with contact details on the front and on the back, an area to write an appointment time and date in addition to addresses of the four locations. The brochure was a four panel style and highlighted the various physiotherapists that are on the team as well as details regarding the clinic locations and information about the services that the Client provides.

Edge also designed and developed three 36" vertical roll up banners for use at trade shows and events. These were fairly bold and simple in design, again utilizing consistent colour schemes and graphics to tie in with the corporate brand.

Website Development

The website design and development process started with a planning session to asses competitors websites and develop a framework for the various pages that were required. In the initial design phase we offered a number of layout options and the design chosen by the client is the one you see to the right. It ties in with the look and feel of their other marketing materials and once again uses the same corporate colour scheme created during the design of the logo.

Other features of the site include comprehensive staff bios, full detailed services listings and treatment techniques, client resources with videos and a news and events blog. In addition we included a live Twitter feed, installed Google Analytics for visitor tracking and optimized each page of the site for better search engine placement.
